As a couple who adore vintage vibes, Halloween fun, and the southwest aesthetic, it only made sense for Cara and Brad to have their wedding in the fall at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club in Chicago. They pulled the fall wedding off flawlessly with plenty of vintage and spooky vibes throughout! Where does the Southwest aesthetic come into play then? Brad actually threw Cara a Southwest theme party and proposed to her surrounded by all their best friends which was the perfect start to their wedding journey!

Getting Ready

For the start of their fall wedding Cara and Brad both got ready in their Chicago home. Both of them being able to get ready with their wedding parties in the comfort of their own home was SO much fun for these two. Cara and her half of the wedding party got ready in her living room before walking over to Christ the King Church in Chicago to put on her wedding dress and final touches before the ceremony. Meanwhile Brad and his groomsmen prepared upstairs and put on their finishing touches before heading over to the church.

Their Ceremony and Portraits

Cara and Brad’s wedding ceremony took place in Christ the King Church in Chicago. The church space is SO beautiful with incredible stained glass windows and so many other gorgeous details to it. As Cara walked down the aisle with her mother she instantly burst into tears seeing Brad for the first time. The emotion of her wedding day and the love for her soon to be husband was overwhelming in the best way possible. 

Once their ceremony was over it was time to head to Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club for the reception. We had some time for wedding portraits outdoors during blue hour though which was so fun. It perfectly fit that vintage fall vibe for their wedding in Chicago and was SO much fun with their wedding party there as well. They were all a riot and so excited for Cara and Brad. We spent the last bit of sunset taking portraits with Brad and Cara and giving them a moment just the two of them before heading in to their reception.

Reception at Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club

Cara and Brad’s reception space at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club was the perfect setting to celebrate the remainder of their fall wedding day in Chicago. A candlelit table and touches of vintage detail like their antique horse shoe wedding cake topper made the space really feel like it was made for their day. After dinner speeches and some mingling with their family and friends it was time to open the dance floor where everyone went HARD celebrating these two. At one point the groomsmen even brought out their Halloween masks to celebrate as they danced the night away with the newlywed couple.

Cara and Brad’s fall wedding in Chicago was everything they wanted it to be and more. Complete with spooky and fun Halloween vibes and plenty of vintage details to go around, it was the perfect day from start to finish!
