Abby and Adam’s engagement session in Bloomington, Illinois HAS to be one of the most unique, personal, and creative engagement sessions I’ve photographed! These two are the literal embodiment of a power couple. Not only did part of their engagement session take place in their coffee shop slash yoga studio combo, but they’re also some of the most welcoming and focused people I’ve been around. They’re both so passionate and driven, which is why I can’t wait to share their session with you!

Their Engagement Session in Bloomington, Illinois

To start their engagement session off Abby, Adam, and I met up at Yoga Lab. Yoga Lab is a coffee shop with a yoga studio attached to it. With Abby and Adam getting engaged in 2023 they wanted to have their engagement session take place in this space they’ve created together, and I am ALL for it! The session started with a “Latte Off” where they each made their own latte to see who did it better. There’s nothing better than some friendly competition and some delicious coffee to start your engagement session! From there we took some more posed photos in the coffee shop before heading back to the yoga studio. Being able to not only celebrate their love, but also this business they’ve built together in Bloomington, Illinois was so amazing to capture during their engagement session.

Photos in Maxwell Park

After our time at Yoga Lab Abby and Adam opted for a quick outfit change as we made our way to Maxwell Park for some sunset photos. Maxwell Park is on the northern end of Bloomington-Normal and is a gorgeous space for some outdoor portraits. Abby and Adam lucked out with the most beautiful golden hour for this part of their session, which really brought these photos to the next level. The two ended their engagement session in Bloomington, Illinois by frolicking in the fields as the sun set behind them. Talk about picture perfect!

I had SO much fun with Abby and Adam during their engagement session in Bloomington, Illinois! Capturing their love for one another in the space they created side by side was a truly special experience and something I’ll forever love to look back on.
