Lexi and Timmy’s wedding day at St Alphonsus Church and Salvatore’s Chicago was everything they wanted it to be, intimate, classic, and romantic. Photographing their wedding day throughout Chicago was SO much fun. There’s so much I love about this wedding from small details to how grand St Alphonsus is as a ceremony space, so much care was put into their day. My favorite part of the day though is just how wonderful Lexi and Timmy are as people. They’re some of the sweetest, most caring and low-key couples I’ve worked with which made their day a pleasure from start to finish!

Getting Ready for Their Chicago Wedding Day

Both Lexi and Timmy got ready for their wedding day separately surrounded and supported by their wedding parties and family. Lexi’s bridesmaids all wore matching getting ready robes for the morning while Lexi’s robe made her look like a classic princess. Lexi’s mom was also present while she was getting ready as the two are inseparable! Timmy got ready for his day with his groomsmen hyping him up for his intimate wedding day at St Alphonsus Church and Salvatore’s Chicago. Once both were ready it was time to head to the church for their ceremony.

Their Traditional Ceremony and Tour of Chicago

St Alphonsus Church is just about as beautiful of a ceremony space you can ask for on a wedding day. The towering inside of the church matched Lexi and Timmy’s wedding day colors which was another beautiful detail of the day, you’ll notice that these kinds of details are a recurring theme from their day! Their traditional ceremony was stunning from beginning to end and perfectly fitting for such a wonderful couple. After their ceremony Lexi and Timmy had a bubble exit from the church before hopping on their massive party bus. Before heading to their intimate wedding reception at Salvatore’s Chicago Lexi, Timmy and their wedding party headed into downtown Chicago for some portraits near the Wrigley Building.

Intimate Wedding Reception at Salvatore’s Chicago

As I mentioned earlier the details from Lexi and Timmy’s wedding day were next level, and some my favorites are how they incorporated their pup into their day. From a themed cocktail, a small figurine of the pup “eating” their wedding cake, and even drink stirrers with the pups face on it, the details were top notch. Lexi and Timmy even got a chance to meet up with their pup outside before heading to Salvatore’s Chicago which was so sweet! The wedding reception itself was classic in every sense of the word. Emotional toasts and speeches, a beautiful first dance between Lexi and Timmy, and a bouquet toss, and so much more. Salwatore’s Chicago was the perfect space for this intimate wedding reception as well as the venue exemplifies class. Lexi, Timmy and their guests all spent the rest of the evening celebrating and dancing the night away together.

Being a part of Lexi and Timmy’s intimate wedding day, from getting ready, to Salvatore’s Chicago, and everything in between was a dream come true.
